Job Responsibility
- Manage the full merchandising cycle, including costing, BOM accuracy, material consumption, and purchase order control to ensure order profitability.
- Coordinate with buyers and suppliers to ensure all orders meet approved costs, quality standards, compliance requirements, and T&A schedules.
- Follow up on samples, materials, and approvals; troubleshoot issues related to quality, compliance, capacity, and delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to ERP processes, documentation standards, and company compliance policies.
- Monitor production status and proactively identify risks to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with production, QA, planning, and logistics teams to drive smooth order flow and meet business performance goals.
Job Duties
The Merchandiser is responsible for end-to-end order execution, managing all merchandising activities from order analysis, product development, costing, material sourcing, and sample follow-up to production readiness and on?time shipment. This role serves as the key coordination point between buyers, suppliers, and internal departments, ensuring all orders are executed accurately and on schedule.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of merchandising processes in garments/apparel manufacturing.
- High sense of ownership, urgency, and commercial awareness.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem?solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in ERP systems, documentation control, and T&A management.
- Able to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese (spoken and written).
